BACOLOD City – Fifteen persons were arrested while P129,027 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from May 7 to 9, 2021.
The seizure includes P110,500 worth of the said contraband recovered in this city while P18,527 worth of the same illegal drugs was confiscated in Negros Occidental.
One of the drug bust operations was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) which resulted in the apprehension of six persons in an alleged drug den at Barangay Taculing here last Friday.
PDEA operatives also seized P68,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Also, personnel of Police Station 2 arrested three persons at Barangay 2 here in separate operations that led to the confiscation of a total of P42,500.
For Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), six persons were apprehended in the cities of Escalante, Talisay, and Bago, and the town of Murcia.
