BACOLOD City Seventeen Incumbent mayors were re-elected in the May 13, 2019 midterm election in Negros Occidental.
Based on official results from the Commission on Elections, the reelected mayors are Nicholas Yulo of Bago City, Ceciro Borromeo of Candoni, John Rey Tabujara of Cauayan, Marvin Malacon of E.B. Magalona, Jose Nadie Arceo of Hinigaran, Ernesto Estrao of Hinoba-an, Jacky Jalandoni of La Carlota, Rhumyla Manguilimutan of La Castellana, Miguel Antonio Peña of Pulupandan, Alfredo Thirdy Marañon of Sagay City, Marxlen Dela Cruz of Salvador Benedicto, Jilson Tubillara of San Enrique, Mark Andrew Golez of Silay City, Nilo Antonio Lizares of Talisay City, Richard Jaojoco of Toboso, Enrique Miravelles of Valladolid, and Francis Frederick Palanca of Victorias City.
Other winners are Salvador Escalante Jr. of Cadiz City, Alfonso Baguio of Calatrava, Melecio Yap of Escalante City, John Paul Alvarez of Ilog, Pedro Zayco of Kabankalan City, Renato Gustilo fo San Carlos City, and Maria Gina Lizares of Sipalay City.
16 mayors are with United Negros Aliiance ( UNEGA) while 15 are members of Love-Negros.
Governor-elect Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Governor-elect Jeffrey Ferrer are awaiting their official proclamation.
The six congressional district representatives are also awaiting proclamation Gerardo Valmayor (unopposed) of the First District, Leo Rafael Cueva (unopposed) of the Second District, Francisco Benitez (unopposed) for the Third District, Juliet Marie Ferrer of the Fourth District, Maria Lourdes Arroyo- Lesaca (unopposed) of the Fifth District, and Genaro Alvarez of the Sixth District.
