ROXAS CITY, Capiz — 19 job order (JO) and contract of service health workers (CSHW) of the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) showed up Tuesday morning in the “head count” called by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) at the session hall.

The workers returned to work after validating their identities as legitimate hospital workers.

The Committee on Appropriations chaired by Board Member Jonathan Sonny Besa said that he was happy that some of the workers responded to the roll call.

Besa encouraged other JOs and CSHWs to appear at the session hall at their available time.

Not one worker appeared in the first day of the head count on October 4. It was meant to validate the existence of the more than 500 health workers of RMPH.

The head count is also a requirement to the supplemental budget request of the Office of the Governor.

The head count runs from October 4 to 13, 2021 from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm.
