ROXAS CITY, Capiz Two construction workers and a student committed suicide in separate incidents on April 3, 2019 in Dumalag town and here.
Jerick Logo, 23, was found hanging by his neck inside their house at Santo Niño, Dumalag around 5:55 a.m. Wednesday.
Police reports indicated Logos mother Rosaline was bringing milk to her son when she found him hanging from the ceiling.
It is believed that Logo was suffering from nervous breakdown.
A 37-year-old construction worker also committed suicide by hanging inside their house in Brgy. Concepcion, Dumalag town.
Samuel Felasol was found dead by his wife Criselda at around 10 a.m.
Based on the investigation by Dumalag police, the victim went on a drinking binge with friends the night before he committed suicide.
Before the incident happened, the victim told his parents that he will be committing suicide but they dismissed it as a joke.
The motive for the incident could be the frequent quarrelling between Felasol and his wife.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old student of Filamer Christian University also hanged himself to death inside their house here.
Emmanuel Wood Besana was declared dead on arrival.
Based on the investigation by the Roxas City police, Besana posted on his Facebook account that he will soon leave.
Depression is believed to be reason behind the incident.
Besana was a varsity tennis player of their school.
