ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A laborer and a butcher wanted on illegal drug charges were arrested in separate police operations Tuesday afternoon, March 25.
Quintin Rodes Gregorio, 44, was arrested at his home in Barangay VII, Roxas City, around 4:42 p.m.
His arrest was based on a warrant issued Feb. 18, 2025, by Judge Joy Rubi Infante-Guilot of Regional Trial Court Branch 18 in Roxas City for violating Article II, Section 12 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, which prohibits the possession of drug equipment, apparatus and other paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, a 39-year-old butcher, identified by police as alias Ace, was arrested at Pueblo de Panay in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City, around 5:11 p.m. the same day.
He is facing two counts of violating RA 9165, according to a warrant issued March 24, 2025, by Judge Infante-Guilot.
Both suspects are being held at the Roxas City Police Station for proper disposition.
