And it’s that time of the Iloilo basketball calendar again.

Another new year, another conference is set to kick off for the Iloilo City Basketball Club (ICBC).

After months of waiting, one of the fast-growing local basketball clubs in the City of Love is set to take center stage again on March 15, 2025, to be held at the Monterosa Subdivision basketball gym in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The ICBC basketball club will be entering its seventh season and will seek to maintain its purpose of being an avenue for different Ilonggo ballers who just wish to hoop, have fun, and look forward to more bonding inside the hardwood with their fellow Ilonggos.

14 teams have already committed to attending the first conference of 2025, which will feature new faces, returning companies, and veteran superstars.

The participating teams in the 2025 ICBC inaugural conference are: Malikhain Sportswear, Medal Sportswear, EVG Commercial, Tamaraw X Fueled Wings, Amxa, Pavia Hardware X 3ES Logistics, BACFIRE, FABS Pet Grooming Services, Aquasure X Calma, Game Changer, Kenny Hardware X Dcars, Clinica Dental/De La Llana X Adring’s Lechon, XYZ X Red Hammer, and Kirk Hardware.

Aside from the old names that were already there during the past seasons of the ICBC, several new players boosted the teams and became the squad’s lottery picks during the Draft Night ceremony.

Headlining the list of the newly welcomed players are Alfie Luneta, Lee Fasomingo, Christian Sobusa, Daniel Perez, Adrian Llander, Shane Hamili, Nonoy Ganzon, Jason Aaron, Eric Gamboa, Joseph Siliman, Francis Ian Diaz, John Mark Mosquera, Jaedy Declarador, and Karl Dedulo.

The ICBC conference will hold several pre-season games this February, before formally opening the season on March 15, 2025.

With a new conference also came a new set of officers as this year’s ICBC will be led by president Blaze Adricula, while the other nominated officers were Jon Saracanlao, Mike Lopez, and Noel Adricula. Other additional members of the committee are Peter Oñate, Aerol Acurantes, Brian Genciana, and Julius Velez.
