The 25th Philippine Academic Book Fair, presented by the Academic Booksellers Association of the Philippines (ABAP), is scheduled from June 5 to 7, 2024, at the Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
The event, themed “Thriving Amidst Technological Advancements and Global Challenges,” aims to highlight the importance of adapting to the rapidly evolving educational landscape.
Long recognized as a premier event for educators, academics, and book enthusiasts, the Philippine Academic Book Fair will feature hundreds of exhibitors and showcase hundreds of thousands of academic book titles, publications, resources, and technologies catering to the academic sphere.
“In an era defined by global technological advancements, it is important that educators stay abreast with the latest trends and tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences for students,” said ABAP President Evelyn Millar. “The 25th Philippine Academic Book Fair serves as an avenue for educators and schools to find the latest print and digital resources and innovative strategies to navigate the challenges of the modern academic world.”

The fair will also host a series of engaging events designed to enrich the attendee experience. On June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. will present the 2024 PAARL ABAP Forum, featuring discussions on how academic libraries drive advocacy and outreach activities, and exploring the potential of controlled digital book lending in the Philippines.
On June 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions will host “The Fundamentals of MICE Industry: Author Signing, Book Presentation, and Conversations.” Authors Cynthia Bernabe and Anton Magpantay will share insights from their book, “Professional Events Management: A Guide to Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, and Events,” covering the MICE industry’s framework, certification, application principles, and differentiating theories from actual practice.
