ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Three wanted persons were arrested Saturday in separate operations in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila and Panitan, Capiz.
Police in Cuartero, Capiz in coordination with Las Piñas City police collared John Paul Pimentel, 28, of Barangay Bitoon Ilaya, Cuartero, but temporarily residing in the said city.
Pimentel, one of the top 10 most wanted persons in Cuartero, was nabbed at the house of a relative in Phase 4, Ruth St. Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City.
Judge Jerson P Almalbis of the 4th Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) Dumarao-Cuartero, in Dumarao town issued the warrant on Feb 16, 2015.
The court recommended P18,000 bail for his temporary liberty. He is presently detained at the Las Piñas Police Station.
Meanwhile, a father and son were arrested Saturday morning at their house in Barangay Banga-an, Panitan.
Raulito Altoveros, 51, and son Richard, 26, did not resist when police served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Socorro Rapiz-Oliveros of Municipal Trial Court in Panitan, Capiz on April 30, 2021 for the crime of direct assault.
A bail of P18,000 each were recommended for their temporary liberty.
The two are detained at Panitan Municipal Police Station.
