3ID med tech cited as one of Phil. Army’s best frontliners

A medical worker of the Camp Peralta Station Hospital in Jamindan, Capiz was recognized as one of Philippine Army’s best civilian human resource frontliners.

Maritez Escrupulo, the hospital’s medical technologist 1, received a plaque and cash incentive, along with 19 other awardees, during a virtual awarding ceremony on Tuesday, September 20.

Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana, Philippine Army commanding chief, was the keynote speaker during the simultaneous awarding rites, which was streamed via video teleconferencing at the Army General Hospital at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City.

The activity was in consonance with the 120th Anniversary Celebration of the Philippine Civil Service with the theme “Philippine Civil Service@ 120: Public Sector in the age of Digital Transformation.”

The ceremony also highlighted the achievement and contributions of the men and women in government who uphold the country’s societal goals and over-all vision.

The awardees from other units are Romelyn Caceres, Dr. Cristian Louie Perez, Benito Anipan, Editha Miranda, Shelee Senlimbay Laban, Cherry Ann Galvez, Marites Reyes, Rose Ann Parado, Anthony Tendero, Dr. Arsenio Rodolfo, Jr., Dr. Katrina Luzzel Balao, Matia Rosario Cayetano, Danilo Pamonag, Jamssen Magday, Everando Alvarado, Ronald Mendoza, Louella Gaba, Jimpet John Fortich, and Patricia Bianca Lagustan.

Major General Eric Vinoya, the 3ID commander said, the awarding ceremony will serve as an inspiration and motivation to all civilian human resource personnel serving in the Philippine Army to perform their best in serving the public amidst the pandemic.

“As we congratulate our medical staff for the award and recognition she had received, we likewise, encourage all 3ID Human Resource personnel to continue doing their best to fulfill the public servant’s pledge to serve the Philippines and its people,” Vinoya said.
