Advocacy and art come together into a beautiful and meaningful display, as various high school students showcase their talents to promote the SDGs.
Students from 17 schools in Quezon City painted the walls of Camp Karingal in a Mural Painting Activity on September 25, 2019. The activity is part of the Global Week of Action that celebrates the 4th anniversary of the United Nations adoption of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Global Week of Action gathers individuals and organizations from various sectors to come together for the Global Goals.
The Mural Painting Activity is organized by the 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc. (YFPH) and Impact Hub Manila, in cooperation with the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Pacific Point Boysen Philippines Inc., JCI Manila, Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity, Ate Rica’s Bacsilog, and Rotary Club Cosmopolitan Timog.
This was part of a week-long celebration of the 4th Anniversary of the SDG’s dubbed the GLOBAL WEEK TO #ACT4SDGs.
