I am absolutely fascinated with the beauty of life in different patterns and forms inspired by how we are connected to each other. Understanding and embracing diversity is my core motivation. From there, I started creating clothes. Since 3 years old, I already knew what I wanted to become. I knew that I was not only destined to be a fashion designer but was designed and made to be one. I started designing clothes from a paper doll that my sister and I loved to play with. I then realized that it was already the beginning of my urge of becoming a fashion designer, unfolding right before my very eyes! I’ve always trusted the process. Although it was difficult at first, giving up was never an option. I remember sacrificing one meal just for the sake of creating a whole runway collection, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by family and friends who are supportive and loving, serving as my inspiration to continue my journey in the field of fashion designing. They are the ones who always uplift my self-esteem, encouraging me to fulfill and reach for my dream and reminding me that success will come along the way. Success did not come easy. I experienced insecurities, rejections, insults, and even bullying. Some people tried to bring me down by spreading rumors and false accusations against me. I was hated because I was too passionate. But I never allowed them to define who I was. Instead of hating back, I ignored their hatred and allowed myself to fly in different patterns and forms. After all, we are all connected in the so-called “circle of life.”
