BACOLOD City – Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) checked pieces of evidence in the custody of the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office last week.
The inventory of evidence was conducted in the crime laboratory office located at Nocppo headquarters in Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. here last October 24.
The result indicated that 24 homemade firearms, 20 short firearms, four light weapons, and a total of 2,417.954 grams of shabu and 48,334.325 grams of marijuana are in the custody of the crime laboratory for safekeeping and examination.
Nineteen units of vehicles are with the Provincial Highway Patrol Unit based at Nocppo headquarters here.
Baleros said the inspection was in compliance with the directive of Lieutenant General Archie Gamboa, officer-in-charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to ensure that the evidence in all incidents and police operations are intact and safe.
