BACOLOD City – A fisherman found human skeletons in a concrete-filled drum in the shoreline of Purok Nami-Nami in Barangay Banago here yesterday.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, public information officer of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said 36-year-old Francisco Ayco went to the seashore to gather some seashells when he found the drum around 9 a.m.

He called for assistance and reported it to the authorities, who discovered the skeleton of an unidentified person inside the drum.

Pico said that the people believed that the victim was possibly thrown by unidentified perpetrators several months ago.

“We cannot tell if the person was from here or from other places,” he said, adding that they also cannot yet identify the victim.

Investigation is ongoing.
