NCAA policy board cancels Season 95

The NCAA policy board confirmed that they are going to scrap the whole NCAA Season 95 sporting activities as part of their safety measures in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In a teleconference, members of the policy board, which include the presidents of the participating schools, collectively agreed with the decision and immediately put out their statement for the information of everybody.

NCAA policy board president, Francisco Cayco, then issued a final statement, stating NCAA Season 95’s final cancelation.

“The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced through the policy board that NCAA Season 95 is terminated. This was arrived at after consultation with policy board members. First and foremost what was considered was the safety of the athletes, students, fans and officials,” Cayco said in his statement.

Indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, football, lawn tennis, soft tennis, track and field, under-15 basketball, and the cheer dance competition will no longer take place.

Regarding the cancelation of the whole season, there will be no declared champion in the different sports including those which already started.
