Bacolod City – Mayor Rogelio Raymund Tongson of Himamaylan, Negros Occidental describe the three Philippine Army soldiers slain in a recent ambush in the town as “modern-day patriots.”
2Lt. Ralf Amante Abibico, Cpl. Joel Nobleza and PFC Carl Venice Bustamante, members of the Army’s 94th Infantry Battalion, were killed in a clash with the New People’s Army (NPA) at Barangay Carabalan.
