All NBA team presidents want to resume the playing of the games once the best scenarios and plans will be mapped out well according to San Antonio Spurs chief executive, RC Buford.
Buford said that during a team presidents’ call, all were in favor and were pushing for the NBA games to continue but first they have to create the best and safest environment for the players, coaches, NBA management, employees, and fans.
“We’re having those discussions with the league, and most of those discussions will be league-wide determinations on how we present our games at the point and time when we do present our games,” Buford said.
Buford also emphasized that one of their major concerns would be the fans, whether they will push for closed-door games or the other way around.
With all NBA presidents agreeing to push for the games, they are currently creating plans to be addressed to NBA commissioner Adam Silver.
“We would love to be able to interact with our community in a safe environment. I think the league’s mission is to do that once we have all the information we need to be able to accomplish that,” Buford added.
