ROXAS CITY, Capiz— One of the three construction workers that was stranded at the border checkpoint in Brgy. Aglalana Dumarao, Capiz tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Capiz Governor Esteban Evan Contreras announced Monday evening that the three construction workers were brought to Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital for Rapid Testing where one of them was positive.
But Contreras said the worker will undergo confirmatory test through RT-PCR test which is more accurate.
Reports said that the construction workers were able to pass through the checkpoint after being stranded at the Capiz-Iloilo border last week.
