After Manila Zoo announced that they were currently experiencing a shortage of food supply for their animals, Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI) pledged to give out 2,000-kilograms worth of chicken.

Chooks-to-Go confirmed that they will start donating the poultry supply starting June 3, 2020, and both sides came to an agreement that delivery will be 200kg per week.

“When we heard that the animals inside the zoo were about to starve, we did not hesitate to pledge two-thousand kilos of chicken to Director Pio Morabe,” said BAVI president Ronald Mascariñas.

Since the implementation of the community quarantine, Mascariñas and BAVI are consistently supplying both fresh and ready-to-eat chicken for free to several public hospitals.

“Sana huwag po nating kalimutan ang ating mga zoo animals sa ganitong krisis dahil pati sila ay apektado rin,” added Director Morabe.
