The NBA is locked and loaded for their restart plan and return this coming July 31 at Disney World, Orlando.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that in observance with the strict guidelines they will follow in preparation for their most-awaited comeback, all NBA players should inform their team owners by June 24 if they will play or not.
If a player is unavailable to play due to health reasons or is uncomfortable playing at Orlando, they should inform their team according to their memo.
However, those players who will not participate in the NBA restart will not be paid by their respective teams due to their inactivity in the games played.
Meanwhile, those who will set their foot on the hardwood will get to enjoy game rooms, golf course access, salon and spa services, backstage tours, fishing areas, bowling, and cabanas with misters for anti-heat.
Given the amenities the hoopers can enjoy, the NBA has tapped some of its personnel to form a medical team that will observe the health and well-being of the players.
The NBA has been in consultation with probably one of the best physicians tackling COVID-19, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Aside from the medical team composed of doctors, the NBA also tapped mental health professionals available for the players and the coaches.
