ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Four wanted persons were arrested in separate operations this week in Cuartero, Panitan and Dumalag towns.
On Wednesday Cuartero police collared murder suspect Raymund Bermudo, 27, of Sitio Vizcaya, Barangay Lunayan, Cuartero, Capiz.
Roxas City Regional Trial Court Judge Kristine B. Tiangco-Vinculado issued Bermudo’s arrest warrant on June 16, 2020. A P120,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, the Dumalag Municipal Police Station in Dumalag, Capiz nabbed Ruther Gardose, 55, of Brgy. Poblacion Dumalag for violations of Republic Act 7942 or the Philippine Mining Act of 1995. The court recommended a P36,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Two more wanted persons were also arrested Tuesday in Panitan, and Roxas City.
The Panitan police served an arrest warrant for carnapping to Micheal Besa, 18, at his house in Barangay Timpas, Panitan, Capiz.
RTC Judge Vinculado issued the warrant on June 15, 2020.
The court recommended a P300,000 bail for his temporary liberty. The suspect is presently detained at the Panitan Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, the No. 1 most wanted person of Roxas City was arrested in Brgy. Dumolog here.
Rodel Dela Cruz, 37, of Sitio Talasa, Barangay Tico Panay, Capiz is wanted for the crime of murder.
The Warrant of Arrest was issued by RTC Judge Esperanza Isabel Poco-Deslate on September 23, 2019.
