Uling Roasters, one of the chains of rotisseries under the Bounty Agro Ventures Inc., gave out free packed meals to hundreds of stranded individuals at the Rizal Baseball Stadium.

For almost a week already, these stranded people are still waiting for available and stable transportation on their way to their respective provinces and homes.

The total number of the stranded people made it hard for a consistent supply of food in the Stadium that’s why Uling Roasters stepped up and shouldered their three meals in a day.

“Many of them don’t have enough money in their pockets for the high cost of food here in Manila. That is why we are assuring them that we will send over packs of ready-to-eat meals until they are able to get back home,” said president Ronald Mascariñas.

With the help and assistance of the National Commission on Indigenous people, it was also found out that some of the stranded individuals are from the indigenous communities.

The presence of the indigenous people will be monitored by the organization and will provide them with their needed help, aside from the promised food supply from Uling Roasters.

“We cannot leave our countrymen behind in those conditions — we cannot leave them hungry and turn a blind eye on them, especially our IPs,” added Mascariñas.

Chooks-to-Go which is also under the Bounty Agro Ventures Inc., is one of the main supporters and pillars behind 3x3basketball in the country.
