Truth is, paying bills isn’t our favorite thing and can be difficult to manage especially if they are starting to pile up. But MORE Power has good news for you, especially if you’re a little old school and still prefer to do things the traditional way.
For consumers of the Mandurriao district and part of Arevalo, you’re most likely to smile this time as MORE Power has partnered with OK Bank, a micro-finance oriented bank situated at JAFA IV Bldg., Onate–De Leon St. in Mandurriao, to bring you the comfort of paying your electric bills right at your backyard.
The partnership was announced yesterday by Atty. Jerry Opinion, OK bank president and chief executive officer, and MORE Power president Roel Castro.
“We are very thankful that MORE Power included us in the list of their partner banks for people in the districts of Mandurriao and some parts of Arevalo can now easily pay their utility bills,” Atty. Opinion said as he noted that “the partnership would surely bring a lot of convenience to our clients and consumers within the area.”
For his part, Castro said MORE Power is partnering with local banks “because we believe in local economy and we recognize the principle of community partnership. We would like to work alongside with our partners for we believe this is essential to being a responsible company.”
“This partnership, actually, is mutually beneficial to both our institutions, we, giving our clients additional option to pay for their electric bills without a hassle of traveling to the city while Ok Bank, for its part, can satisfactorily serve its clients by offering this payment option,” he said.
An OK Bank client, printing mogul Ted Antiqueña of Iloilo Printing Services, for his part, said the tie-up was a sound one for it will definitely bring more accessibility for business owners especially within the Mandurriao area.
“Like myself, I am holding office at the Megaworld area and being a bit traditional in paying my bills, this partnership between MORE Power and OK Bank wherein I am a depositor is indeed a welcome relief and I really welcome this added comfort,” he noted.
OTHER PARTNER BANKS & INSTITUTIONS
OK Bank is actually an added partner to the existing partners of MORE Power which it accredited since it took over the utility distribution of Iloilo on February this year namely BDO, PNB, Landbank, Robinson’s Bank, Queenbank, Palawan Pawnshop (Palawan Express not included), RD Pawnshop, LBC, and SM Payment Canter.

If you’re part of the digital age or someone who hates long queues, mobile banking is simply your go-to choice and MORE Power offers the same for you to get rid of the hassle of having to leave your comfortable spot just to get that payment done.
Of the accredited banks, BDO, PNB, and Landbank offer the online payment in addition to its over-the-counter services. All the other partners cater to over-the-counter payment services only.
