ROXAS CIT, Capiz — Three wanted persons were arrested by police in separate operations on Tuesday in Dumarao, Jamindan and Maayon towns.
Members of the Dumarao Municipal Police Station nabbed Leonardo Molon, 36, at his house in Barangay Tinaytayan, Dumarao.
The warrant for his arrest for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting in physical injury was issued by Judge Jerson F. Almalbis of the 4th Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC) Dumarao on July 7, 2020.
A P5,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
A warrant of arrest was also served by the Jamindan Municipal Police Station against Elmer Berde, 36, of Barangay Milan, Jamindan, Capiz for violations of the Anti-Fencing Law, which penalizes the buying and/or selling of stolen items.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Rocille Aquino-Tambasakan of the Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Imus City, Cavite on February 21, 2020. A P26,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, the Maayon police collared Jobert Borda, 28, of Barangay Batabat, Maayon, Capiz for the crime of serious physical injuries.
The arrest warrant was issued by Municipal Circuit Trial Court Judge Cynthia Del Castillo of Maayon on July 24, 2020 with a P36,000 bail.
