ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The provincial government of Capiz allocated P4 million for the rehabilitation of a foot bridge that collapsed recently due to floods caused by typhoon Quinta at Brgy. Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz.

Provincial engineer Edgar Agana assured that the provincial government will finance the rehabilitation of the bridge that served the residents, as well as teachers and students of Dulangan National High School.

According to Pilar Municipal Administrator John Heredia, the municipal government has no budget for the repair and rehabilitation.

Heredia said most of their funds were used in their response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pilar Mayor Arnold Perez has assured the residents that he will find solutions to the problem.
