Another resident of Deca Homes in Barangay Pandac, Pavia, Iloilo was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation evening of Nov 4, 2020.
Salmer Lloyd Retotar, 22, of Block 36, Lot 27, Deca Homes was netted in a buy-bust operation outside the subdivision.
Police Major Jojo Tabaloc, Pavia police chief, said they collared Retotar after selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000 to an undercover cop.
Two more sachets of suspected shabu worth P28,000, a mobile phone, and a coin purse were also recovered from the suspect when he was frisked.
Tabaloc said the suspect was placed under surveillance after he was tagged by another suspected pusher who was arrested in another drug bust last month.
“He’s been trading on and off,” Tabaloc said.
The Pavia police chief said Retotar provided them the names of his contacts in the drug trade.
Retotar is now detained at the lock-up cell of Pavia Police Station pending the filing of charges against him for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
