Another tournament, another success.
This has been Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) Taekwondo gym’s mantra ever since and they just keep on stacking up those medals after another splendid finish during the 2020 PTA Milo Online National Taekwondo Speed and Poomsae Championships.
16 brave and decorated Ilonggo jins mentored by Mr. MVP himself rose to the occasion and brought Iloilo City and Western Visayas to the top of the pedestal once again.
Anthony Benedict Planta, Ianma Gabriella Rosales, James Annrhey Pecayco, and Jenella Ashley Tionko all prevailed over the toughest opponents from all over the Philippines and earned gold medals in their respective categories.
Meanwhile, Eujean Ivanka Castete, Shanen Anica Feranco, Sophia Marie Bautista, Andria Margaret Palabrica, Maria Beatriz Santos, Alicia Sophia Gutierrez, and Viene Marie Dulaca managed to settle for the silver medal.
MVP jins who made it to the top 10 of their respective categories were Phil Caleb Regalado, Ma. Glaiza Cordero, Justin Adrian Apura, Clyde Anthony Chua, Geon Ivan Dulaca, Jeremiah Miguel Ong, Phil Andrew Margarico, Denzel Espadilla, Alyzza Alindote, Shires Postolero, Margarette Gem Obsequio, Gabriel Dominic Capadosa, Sirch Einreb Damaolao, Eduardo Adenic III, Alyanah Julienne Tionko, Charee Marie Florence Genecela, Virgilio Tenefrancia III, and Alexis Eunice Araneta.
