One of the most promising prospects for the Gilas Pilipinas women just introduced herself at the collegiate level after playing her debut game in the NCAA Division I basketball.
Filipino-American Alexis Mark showed her brilliant offensive arsenal as a member of the Boise State Broncos and helped them trample the College of Idaho, 90-43.
The six-foot scoring forward torched College of Idaho and made the most out of her playing time, chalking up 16 huge points, six rebounds, and one assist.
It was evident that Mark’s athleticism and length became a problem for the opposition as she just rose against every defender and swooshed in her jumpers comfortably.
Her aggressiveness in slashing through the interior also forced Idaho to give up too many fouls and put them on foul trouble that allowed the Broncos to dictate the tempo in their favor.
Mark is the other half of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers’ high school dynamic 1-2 punch together with Fil-Am Vanessa De Jesus who is currently making waves with the Duke Blue Devils.
