The Jordan Bikers Club led by Tommy Colmenares, Jay Caro, and Anthony Castillo conducted a thanksgiving ride at the Ati community in Sitio Kati-Kati in Jordan, Guimaras.
The activity aims to promote further the island province of Guimaras as a biking destination and to bring the holiday spirit to the indigenous people’s community.
According to Mr. Colmenares, who has been conducting the gift-giving for years, the activity has become a fixture of his biking lifestyle.
He said biking is one of the best ways of reducing carbon emissions and is a safe form of sports and exercise.
The gift-giving is not only a way of sharing their blessings but also to show gratitude to Guimarasnons, especially the farmers who allowed bikers to use their lands as their “bike playground.”
