Marck Espejo was given a farewell ceremony by club Bani Jamra after putting up impressive performances in the Bahrain Volleyball League while also nearing the end of his contract as an import.
Despite placing sixth out of the eight teams in the league, Bani Jamra showed how thankful they are for Espejo’s services after he led them to a win in their last game of the season, 25-22, 25-20, 17-25, 25-19 against A’ali.
Espejo’s leadership spearheaded Bani Jamra’s four wins out of their 13 matches alongside his wide array of offensive artillery.
Joining the club last November 5, 2020, Espejo’s contract is about to end with Bani Jamra, the reason why the team set up a farewell celebration for their ace import.
Espejo took his talents to Bahrain after stellar stints as an import with Oita Miyoshi in the Japan V. League and the Visakha Volleyball Club in the 2020 Thailand League.
With the Spiker’s Turf Volleyball league still not returning in the Philippines, Espejo decided to play as an Asian import in other countries for the meantime.
