PSA-6 personnel attend mobile registration in Passi City

Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office (PSA-RSSO)-6 personnel in coordination with the office of City Civil Registrar of Passi City Iloilo, headed by E. Arevalo attended the mobile registration at Barangay Dalicanan, Passi City on January 26, 2021.

Punong Barangay Bonifacio G. Panes warmly welcomed the PSA team and other participants.

City Civil Registrar Arevalo thanked the barangay officials for their cooperation in the mobile registration as part of the advocacy of Mayor Stephen Palmares to bring closer Civil Registration services to the barangay.

She also encouraged the residents of the barangay, especially the senior citizens who do not have records of their birth certificate with PSA, to apply for delayed registration.

Arevalo said their office also caters request of civil registry documents in security paper (SECPA) through Batch Request Query System (BREQS).

Statistical Specialist II Jean Lito N. Esapol discussed common errors in birth certificates such as wrong spelling, incorrect gender and error in day and month of birth and applicable laws and administrative remedies to correct such errors.

Esapol also answered queries and other concerns of the residents.

PB Panes thanked the staff of Passi City Civil Registrar and PSA for their collaborative efforts and unending support in making this activity a successful one.
