The second reason for the opposition to mandatory passport vaccination is that “it violates the Constitutional rights of non-vaccine passport holders.”
The petition explains that the “right to travel, the right of access to basic goods and services, are basic, fundamental Constitutional rights embraced in ‘the right to life’. The right to choose not to be vaccinated is not sufficient ground to abridge these constitutional rights.”
Indeed can an elected legislature or executive simply legalize the curtailment or removal of our constitution rights? Is this kind of law common only in dictatorial and oppressive governments? Do we still have a functional Constitution?
“Moreover, THERE ARE MEDICALLY-RECOGNIZED GROUNDS for refusing a vaccination, such as but not limited to allergies, pre-existing medical conditions that can potentially complicate with the introduction of a virus in the body (which is what vaccines do: introduce a small amount of virus to activate the antibodies). The Bill does not mention any of these recognized grounds for refusing a vaccine. Thus, the Bill unwittingly, with all due respect, works to violate a citizen’s fundamental right to life.”
Nobody in government or the manufacturers of these vaccines have made an ironclad claim that their vaccines have no risks but the authors of this bill have already assumed an omniscient power as to mandate its use.
“The right not to be vaccinated,” the petition continues, “is guaranteed by the Magna Carta of Patients in the Philippines. All over the Philippines, hospitals have billboards detailing patients’ rights, such as but not limited to the following:
(a) Right to informed consent Right to confidentiality and privacy; (b) Right to choose health care provider and facility; (c) Right to self-determination (choose a medical protocol); (d) Right to religious belief in the matter of health care: and (e) RIGHT TO REFUSE PARTICIPATION IN MEDICAL RESEARCH.
“If the Executive Branch activates the prerogative granted it by the legislature in Section 11 of the Bill to institute a vaccine passport, all the aforementioned rights of a patient can and will be rendered nugatory.”
Why? Because it forces citizens who are otherwise healthy to expose themselves to disease in the guise of helping them!
How many times have the vaccine manufacturers claimed the insufficiencies of their products? Have not our legislators or their staffs read or heard anything about these deficiencies? Have they not asked physicians who are independently minded? There are scores of them and their researches and statements have been published.
Would it not be criminal on their part not to have done intensive research on this subject before even writing the first letter of this bill?
“An underlying problem in the Bill, with all due and great respect to its authors, is a misnomer replete with potential for disastrous consequences. It calls the program “Anti-Covid Vaccination”, which seems to suggest that the vaccine will protect a person from being infected with Covid-19,” the Movement said.
“Here lies the fundamental problem APPEARING IN THE BILL ITSELF,” the Movement added.
“A vaccine is defined as “a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as antigen without inducing the disease” (Oxford dictionary online), or a “A substance containing virus or bacterium in a form that is not harmful, given to a person or animal to prevent them from getting the disease that the virus or bacterium causes” (Cambridge dictionary online).
“YET, in the bill itself, in the second to the last paragraph of Section 11 thereof, it is EXPLICITLY STATED that “Individuals vaccinated against Covid-19 as indicated in the vaccine passport shall not be considered immune from Covid-19…(!)”
Indeed, how many times had I cited medical and health authorities all over the world presenting proofs that the alleged vaccines do not provide immunity? So, why should people be forced to be vaccinated with a drug that is not a vaccine but gene therapy that is useless as it is extremely expensive?
Who can fathom the mind that would impose this vaccine on a hapless citizenry already in fear of the disease? There must be reasons even for the unreasonable.
