The Iloilo Kisela Knights had a memorable Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Day 12 after limiting both of their opponents to just four points to sweep their way for another 2-0 finish.
Eager to get back after splitting their last matches in a devastating loss to Manila, the Kisela Knights crushed Cavite and Isabela with a score of 17-4 against each opponent.
It was a chess clinic for the Kisela Knights after going all out to hand both Northern Division top teams a beating.
During the first match, Iloilo squared-off against Cavite and immediately showed no mercy after leading in the Blitz category, 5-2.
It was then a clear showcase of what Iloilo can do after nearly sweeping all seven boards in the Rapid category with a score of 12-2 and 17-4 in total.
For their last match of PCAP Day 12, the Kisela Knights continued their dominance after holding the Isabela chess team to only 4 points as well.
GM Joey Antonio Jr., Giovanni Mejia, Lloyd Lanciola, and the rest of the Kisela Knights proved to be too much after dropping only one board in the Blitz and Rapid category.
