The UFC is set for one of the most highly-anticipated trilogies in their history after Conor McGregor-Dustin Poirier chapter III was announced.
UFC president Dana White himself confirmed the development and also said that the main bout will be held in Las Vegas with a possible full capacity crowd.
Nevada governor Steve Sisolak said that they are already planning to lift some of the COVID-19 restrictions in the next few weeks and that includes the reopening of sports in full blast.
White earlier said that the UFC wished to fight in full-capacity venues in the next few months so that fans can already experience the intensity and the atmosphere of the past matches.
McGregor got the better of a young Poirier during their first fight and had an easy time as he showed his dominant striking prowess.
However, the more matured Poirier was able to score his revenge and handed McGregor a horrible knockout loss with a ground and pound finish.
Who will emerge victorious in the upcoming UFC 264? A hungry Poirier or a more determined McGregor?
