The Roxas City government led by Mayor Ronnie Dadivas added more significance to the commemoration of the President Manuel A. Roxas Day on Thursday by launching the BUGAS PARA SA TAGA ROXAS FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM.
Mayor Dadivas said indigent residents of the city will regularly receive rice under the program.
Each recipient family will receive 10 kilos of rice every month or 120 kilos a year.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dadivas assured that protocols will be followed during the distribution in barangays to protect public health.
The City Government will always help you as we face the COVID-19 pandemic. As I promised you, no one in Roxas City will die of hunger. Together, we will survive,” he added.
