ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Two ladies were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation Wednesday evening conducted by the Regional and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit at Barangay Banica here.
The suspects were Annanette Barredo, 35, of Brgy. San Jose; and Cindy Fuentes, 33, of Brgy. Libas here.
Recovered from the suspects were six sachets of suspected shabu, P12,500 marked money, two cellphones, a lighter, and a pouch.
The seized substance weighed 25 grams and valued at P170,000.
Barredo and Fuentes are detained at the Roxas City Police Station and will be charge for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
