BACOLOD City – Some coaches and team leaders of RGS World Marketing Corp. urged the owner of the investment firm to come out and face their clients.

Rosevic Libo-on was among those who joined a press briefing yesterday at the Negros Press Club (NPC) here to make clarifications regarding their clients’ payout.

Libo-on said her members had invested a total of P400,000 to RGS, but many of her members have yet to receive their payouts or returns.

Libo-on said they decided to face the media and express their sentiments after they received reports that some of their clients were pressuring them to give their payouts, when in fact, the coaches and team leaders do not have the invested money.

She added that the money of their clients was with the investment company.

“Mismo kami wala sa amon ang kwarta, kay gina diretso na namon sa company,” she added.

Libo-on said that all payouts are being processed before the releasing.

They were given memos and schedule by the company for the return of their investment, but until now, the owner of the firm cannot be reached.

“Ang gusto man lang tani namon nga bisan indi na lang double or triple money, basta mabalik lang sa members ang ila kwarta,” she said.

Last Monday, around 30 persons lodged a complaint before Police Station 8 here against RGS.

Police Major Joery Puerto, station commander, said the complainants reported that they have invested thousands and even millions of their money to an investment company that assured them of a big amount of cash return, but until now they have yet to receive their payout.

Puerto said the last message they received from the firm was the assurance of returning their investment by Friday, April 23, 2021.

If the firm could not comply with it, Puerto said the complainants can pursue the filing of large scale estafa charges against the persons behind the alleged investment scam.

Daily Guardian has yet to reach the owner of the investment firm.
