BACOLOD City – Yanson siblings Roy, Celina, Emily and Ricardo Jr., also known as Y4, were elected anew to the board of directors of the Sugbo Transit Express during its annual shareholders meeting held at the Seda Hotel here over the weekend.

Atty. Juan Bernardo Z. Yulo, legal counsel of the Y4, said in a press statement on Sunday that the meeting was attended by stockholders representing 66.67% of the outstanding capital stock of the corporation.

Roy V. Yanson, Emily V. Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez, and Ricardo Yanson Jr., were elected to the board for the corporation year 2021-2022.

Yulo said the shareholders ratified all acts and transactions of the Board of Directors and management under the leadership of President Roy Yanson.

Yulo added that in the reorganization meeting that followed, the BOD elected Roy V. Yanson as chairman of the board of directors and president, Ricardo V. Yanson Jr. as Vice President for maintenance, Ma. Lourdes Celina Y. Lopez as treasurer of chief financial officer, Emily v. Yanson as corporate secretary, Anna Isabella Galvez as assistant corporate secretary, and Carlo Joaquin Narvasa as Vice President for Legal.

The press statement also said that the new directors of the company also vowed to continue court actions to unravel minority shareholders’ activities and their pretense to act on behalf of the company despite the absence of any legal basis for them to do so.
