ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 42-year-old man facing an illegal drugs case was arrested Friday morning at Barangay Dayao here.
Anthony Tullo of San Roque Street, Barangay Inzo here did not resist when the police served a warrant of arrest against him on San Roque Street here.
Tullo is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Roxas City Regional Trial Court Branch 17 Judge Lorencito Belo Diaz issued the warrant on May 5, 2021
The court recommended a P40,000 bail for Tullo’s temporary liberty. He is presently detained at the Roxas City Police Station.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man is back in jail after police arrested him for an attempted homicide charge.
The Roxas City Police Station and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-Capiz) nabbed Mark John Concepcion at his house in Arrojado Subd, New Road, Barangay Banica here.
Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 1 Judge Jennie Ann Tayag Logronio issued the warrant on May 4, 2021.
The court recommended P36,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
Last year, Concepcion was arrested for the crime of carnapping. But he was released on a P180,000 bail.
The suspect is presently detained at the Roxas City police station.
