PRO-6 top cop inaugurates new police station in Antique

Police Brigadier Gen Rolando F Miranda, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 director, led the inauguration of the new Anini-iy Municipal Police Station at Grande St. Poblacion Anini-iy, Antique on July 22, 2021.

The simple ceremony was attended by Engineer Lea Delfinado, regional director of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-6, Mayor Maxfil B Pollicar of Anini-iy, and Police Colonel Roy B Parena, provincial director of Antique police.

Police Major Mark Virgil Ibardolaza, PRO-6 Regional Pastoral Officer, officiated the blessing of the building together with the guests.

The 2-storey standard type B/C building stands on a 400-square meter lot with a total floor area of 288 square meters.

It has a contract amount of P8,652,191.57 funded under the PNP and DPWH Convergence Program through the General Appropriation Act of 2020 (GAA).

The construction started on February 24, 2020 and was completed on January 6, 2021 by S.T. Salcedo Construction Corporation.

RD Miranda thanked the local government and DPWH for their continued support in the construction of Police Stations in Western Visayas.

“We need to work closely with the local chief executive para the best public safety services ang ating ibibigay sa ating mga kababayan. Let us give our constituents the best public safety services that we can offer,” Miranda said
