The number of COVID-19 infections among Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 personnel is 1,144 with 152 active cases, 922 recoveries, and 4 deaths.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) has the highest number of active cases at 48 while the Aklan Police Provincial Office (AkPPO) has 35 and the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has 25.
Both the city and province of Iloilo are now on enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) while Aklan was placed on modified ECQ following a surge in COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, Guimaras PPO logged 10 active cases; Antique PPO and Capiz PPO with 8 cases each; Negros Occidental PPO and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 (RFMB-6) with 7 each; and PRO-6 headquarters with 4 cases.
Bacolod City PO has no active case.
Negros Occidental PPO recorded two COVID-related deaths while IPPO and ICPO has one each.
Negros Occidental PPO also has the most number of COVID-19 infections at 207 with IPPO tailing behind at 200.
Bacolod City PO logged a total of 161 COVID-19 cases; Aklan PPO with 120; PRO-6 headquarters with 109; Antique PPO with 101; Iloilo City PO with 93; Capiz PPO with 73; and Guimaras PPO with 26.
As of August 2, 2021, PRO-6 recorded a total of 3,395 personnel who are fully vaccinated which is 25 percent of its 13,554 personnel.
Lieutenant Colonel Joem Malong, PRO-6 spokesperson, said that 1,844 personnel (13.60 percent) received their first dose.
But 8,315 personnel are still awaiting to get inoculated.
