BACOLOD City – A man was found lifeless with stab wounds at Sitio Cubay, Barangay San Antonio, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental last Tuesday.
Police identified the victim as Jolen Banaglorioso, 48, of Barangay Caradio-an.
According to Police Lieutenant Arturo Margallo Jr., deputy police chief of Himamaylan City Police Station, Banaglorioso was last seen drinking liquor with another man on August 23.
The following day, a woman who was gathering fire wood found the bloodstained victim lying on the ground.
Margallo said they have yet to establish the motive, although they are looking into drunkenness as one of the possible angles.
“Basi bala sa inom-inom, tapos nag lalisay, wala ta pa mabal-an kay wala may nakakita,” he added.
