Iloilo MVP taekwondo gym wins 27 medals won in national stint

The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym is back at the top of the sport after dominating in the recently concluded 2021 Global Online Speed Kicking and Poomsae Championships.

It was another successful campaign for the MVP jins after collecting a total of 27 medals hauled: six golds, 12 silvers, and nine bronze medals, in the national competition.

Despite a long lay-off, head trainer and coach Mr. MVP himself made sure that everyone was in game shape come tournament time and they did it perfectly.

The gold medalists were Angela Joy Bermejo, Nathan Lee Dedal, Lindsy Lorraine Degayo, Niña Antonette Malazarte, James Xander Calubo, and Sirhc Einreb Damaolao.

Meanwhile, the second-place finishers were Nieka Thalia Guevara, Amber Gale Abellar, Prince Ivan Barcemo, Alyanah Julienne Tionko, Arvin Kirk Derayunan, Alicia Sophia Gutierrez, Pearl Danielle Rosales, Jenella Ashley Tionko, Charee Marie Florence Genecela, Phil Andrew Margarico, Ianna Gabriella Rosales, and Red Dyron Lusaya.

Those who settled for the bronze medal finish were Adrian Emmanuel Zarandin, Jannah Ysabel Velez, Marielle Faye Lagamo, Quinn Jimenez, Senddrick Valencia, Alyzza C’lynn Alindote, Eujean Ivanka Castete, and Margarette Gem Obsequio.

Nine other MVP jins also made it into the top 10 of their respective categories right after the final score tally.
