BACOLOD City – Falsification charges were recommended by the prosecutor’s office to be filed against the purported corporate secretary of Vallacar Transit Inc. (VTI) for allegedly making false statements in the firm’s General Information Sheet (GIS)
Court documents furnished to the media Monday showed that City Prosecutor Joel Vedon recommended that Anna Isabel Galvez be indicted for the crime of falsification of public documents and perjury.
The charges were filed by Leo Rey Yanson and his mother Olivia of VTI, operator of Ceres Bus Liner.
Court documents also showed that Galvez, as corporate secretary on December 5, 2020, made false declarations in the firm’s GIS.
Galvez has yet to issue her statement on the matter.
The case is still an offshoot of the ongoing Yanson family feud over control of their bus firm.
