The Iloilo Kisela Knights are in for a tough two-match schedule as they battle Pengcheng and Olongapo in another playoff round of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) San Miguel Corporation-Ayala Land Premier Association Cup.

After sweeping their past games against Davao, 18-3, and Bangkok, 17.5-3.5, the Kisela Knights are looking to make it four wins in a row to recapture the top spot in the PCAP playoff rankings.

Despite sitting at the bottom of the northern division rankings, both Olongapo and Pengcheng are also eager to break out of their losing slump and put themselves in the winning column.

With Olongapo taking a single win in the playoffs while Pengcheng still winless, the Kisela Knights are also seeking two badly-needed wins to rise to 5-1 and possibly take the first spot in their division.

Aside from extending their winning streak to four, the Iloilo-based squad is also looking to avenge their only loss of the conference so far against San Juan.

On the other hand, San Juan is sitting at the top spot of the northern division with 62 points and also tops the whole PCAP season-ending standings.

The Kisela Knights are sitting behind Singapore and the PH Paralympic team with 58 total accumulated points.
