Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin E. Diokno (above) explains that the BSP is carrying out capacity-building programs as part of its broader efforts to promote the wider adoption of sustainable financing in the country.
During a recent Chamber of Thrift Banks convention, the Governor said it is developing the capabilities of banks with the assistance of developmental institutions and training partners.
This is seen as key to enabling more banks to integrate sustainability principles into their strategic objectives, corporate governance, risk management systems, and operations.
