Woman electrocuted in Dumalag

ROXAS City – A 40-year-old mother died of electrocution while on her way to school to get the learning modules of her children Monday morning at Sitio Maludlud, Barangay Duran in Dumalag, Capiz.

Police identified the victim as Jocelyn Guaña Liza of Duran village.

Police Staff Sergeant Wilhem Gervero, Dumalag Municipal Police Station investigator, said Liza was walking to their school when she touched the dangling distribution wire of Capiz Electric Cooperative (CAPELCO).

She succumbed to third degree burns in different parts of her body.

The body underwent post-mortem examination at Somo Funeral Home in Tapaz, Capiz.
