The longest running prestigious beauty pageant in Iloilo City took centerstage in a glittering event at the ultimate shopping and lifestyle Haven SM City Iloilo last January 18, 2023.
Clinching the most coveted crown of 2023 Iloilo Festival Queen was the statuesque stunner Angela May Zaldivar of the University of San Agustin, back to back with 2023 Hiyas sang Iloilo winner, the beauteous and articulate Kyle Elizabeth Areno of Lambunao National High School.
Coming close at 1st Runner-up was Mary Ann Margareth Muellas of ISAT-University Miagao Campus followed by Dannessa Gonzales of Santa Isabel College of Iloilo City and Singrid Vera Garde of Iloilo City National High School as 2nd-and 3rd runners-up, respectively.
The pageant was superbly hosted by 2016 Iloilo Festival Queen and Miss Teen Philippines 1st runner-up Joannah Gonzales-Sabug and the debonaire Nico Gumban.
The Stellar Board of Judges was headed by Daily Guardian founder Lemuel Fernandez and Felamie Aguillon who both crowned the winners.
Now on its 23rd edition, the 2023 Iloilo Festival Queen is spearheaded annually by the Señor Sto. Niño Festival Queen Inc. headed by Eddie Juatas with the support of artistic director Zedrick D Señeres.
