David Benavidez means pure business.

After months of back-and-forth against nemesis Caleb Plant, the American-Mexican undefeated boxer will finally have the chance to settle his beef with the former super middleweight champion on March 26, 2023, to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During their latest press conference, Benavidez issued a bold prediction after guaranteeing a sixth-round knockout, adding that he will break Plant’s jaw with his heavy punches.

The tagged “Mexican Monster” finished 23 out of his 26 opponents via knockout and is anticipating another exact finish against Plant who he said, “he hated”.

Months before the build-up of their mega-fight, Benavidez and his camp were intensely trash-talking team Plant, proof is how they barked at them in their first press conference one month ago.

“I’m gonna break Caleb’s jaw on Saturday night, by the sixth round. Back in the day I hit hard, but I really didn’t train that hard. Now that I’ve prepared myself, I’m really dangerous and he should be worried,” said Benavidez in front of Plant.

The press conference was nothing but a word war between two grown men with deep hatred for each other, including their head coaches who also got into several verbal altercations heading into the fight.

Benavidez closed his statements by saying that his hands will be raised as the winner and is confident that he will extend his undefeated winning streak.

On the other hand, Plant was unfazed by the predictions that Benavidez said and replied that this will be the first time that the “Mexican Monster” will be facing a high-level boxer his whole career.

“I am the smarter fighter, I fought tougher matches, and I am the better boxer. Those are my advantages against him. Come Saturday night, you will see me get my hands raised. Promise you that,” Plant replied.

This will definitely be a war. Who’d you got? Benavidez or Plant?
