Sigma’s native hailed champion in Bugal sang Capiz ’23 Singing tilt

𝑴𝒂𝒆 π‘±π’–π’π’π’Šπ’†π’π’† 𝑴. 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒛,Β representing the Municipality of Sigma, was declared the Grand Winner of the recently-concluded Bugal sang Capiz Singing Competition (OPM Edition) on April 17 in front of the Capiz Provincial Capitol.

Perez competed against 16 other contenders.

Dumarao’s representative Prance Wenn F. Parcon placed first runner-up while Pontevedra’s Jizzel Bordones was second runner-up.

The awards were presented by Vice Governor Jaime Magbanua, along with Board Members Trina Ignacio and Cecilio Facundo and Tourism Office Head Alphonsus Tesoro.

Also present during the event were Bugal sang Capiz 2021 Winners John Pimentel (Grand Winner), Herrol Gicole (1st Runner-up) and Gerlie Alis (2nd Runner-Up); Gino Paulo Buizon (Multimedalist, World Championship of Performing Arts) and Mark Pieza (Tawag ng Tanghalan Contender) who each delivered power renditions of their winning pieces.

The competition was just the first half of the Bugal sang Capiz Singing Competition, as the Composo Edition of the namesake is slated to take place on the 20th of April at the same schedule and venue.
