BACOLOD City – Police are still investigating the cases of two persons who were found dead here and in Negros Occidental.
In Don Salvador Benedicto town, Wenny Mar Dejito, 55, of Barangay Bunga, suffered a laceration on his forehead and mouth when found at the sugarcane field in the said village last Sunday, based on a police report.
His body was found by his relative who reported the incident to the authorities.
The following day, an unidentified man was found lifeless in a nipa hut at Purok Villarosario, Barangay Alijis here.
Police Captain Edward Bolivar, head of Police Station 7, said they could not ascertain yet the injuries of the victim.
Bolivar said they have no witnesses since the area is isolated. He said that some residents told the police that they do not know the victim.
“Indi man daw taga dira ang biktima, wala makakilala sa iya,” he added.
